It was only later reports that thought to include the small fact that construction work was being done on the bridge at the time.
There are at least three dead and many more injured. That's a tragedy and I don't want to belittle it. But that tragedy doesn't prevent me from (and indeed may contribute to) feeling complete disgust at the fucked-up priorities of the news media.
When something like this happens, the first thing to do should be to look at the obvious possible causes, not to go fishing for some terrorist link to beef up the sensationalism factor, you fucking vultures.
To anyone with friends or family in the Minneapolis area; I hope they're all okay.
